Susan Anderson Memorial Scholarship for Information Studies

The Susan Anderson Memorial Scholarship supports Canadian students pursuing graduate degrees in library and information studies at one of three Ontario universities. Administered by the May Court Club of Ottawa, the award emphasizes community volunteerism as a core selection criterion alongside academic achievement. The scholarship honors the memory of Susan Anderson and her contributions to information studies and public service.

Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have been accepted into the Masters of Information Studies at the University of Ottawa, the Masters of Information at the University of Toronto, or the Masters of Library and Information Science at Western University. Award is based on volunteerism, academic achievement, and personal qualities.

Submit two reference letters—one focusing on volunteerism and community service, and one focusing on work experience—along with proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent residency and proof of acceptance to the program.
