ConnectHER Film Festival

The ConnectHER Film Festival is an annual global student film competition that awards cash prizes totaling $70,000 to student filmmakers who tell compelling stories about women's issues around the world. The top prize is $5,000, with additional awards across multiple categories. The festival aims to harness the power of storytelling to advance gender equality. Submission windows open July 1 and close October 1 each year.

Open to students between the ages of 13 and 25, regardless of nationality or educational status. The competition is focused on global women's issues, and submissions are welcome from students anywhere in the world.

Entrants must submit an original 3-6 minute short film addressing a global women's issue such as education for girls, maternal health, violence against women, or economic empowerment. Submissions are made through the ConnectHER Film Festival website between July 1 and October 1.
