Keyera Energy-Peter J. Renton Memorial Scholarship

The Keyera Energy-Peter J. Renton Memorial Scholarship rewards and encourages Alberta students pursuing post-secondary education in energy-related fields such as engineering, environmental science, and business. The award provides $3,000 for the first year of study and an additional $3,000 for the second year, for a potential total of $6,000. It honors Peter J. Renton's contributions to the energy sector and community. Applications are accepted between August 1 and October 31 each year.

Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are residents of Alberta, have maintained permanent residency in Canada for at least 12 consecutive months before beginning post-secondary studies, and are enrolled full-time as undergraduate students in an energy-related program at a publicly funded post-secondary institution in Alberta.

Applications are submitted through the Alberta Student Aid portal between August 1 and October 31. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement and commitment to the energy sector. A second-year disbursement of $3,000 is available if the recipient remains enrolled and in good standing.
