The SEMA Scholarship supports students pursuing automotive industry careers by awarding up to $5,000 toward tuition at accredited universities, colleges, or vocational schools. The program also offers a separate loan forgiveness option of up to $2,000 for employees of SEMA-member companies repaying student loans. SEMA is a leading trade association for the automotive specialty equipment industry.
Open to high school seniors and college students in the United States or Canada who are U.S. or Canadian citizens (permanent/legal residents are not eligible). Applicants must demonstrate a passion for the automotive hobby and career.
Applicants must be pursuing a degree or certification leading to a career in the automotive field at an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution. Submission of academic records and documentation of automotive involvement is required.
