The OAS Academic Scholarships Program for undergraduates provides funding of up to $10,000 per academic year to support students from OAS Member States who are nearing completion of their undergraduate degrees. Awards cover one to two academic years and are intended to complement students' education expenses. The program promotes hemispheric development by supporting students who return to contribute to their home countries.
Open to citizens or permanent residents of OAS Member States who are already enrolled in an undergraduate program and eligible to graduate within two academic years. Programs in medical sciences and language learning are excluded.
Selected scholars must commit to returning to their sponsoring country for at least 24 months after completing their degree. Applications are submitted through the OAS scholarship portal and deadlines vary by country.
