The 'Mining Needs You' scholarship program offers multiple $2,500 scholarships annually through MiHR's coalition of industry partners. Minimum one award per year for women, Indigenous peoples, racialized persons, persons with disabilities, or 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.

Eligibility

Students in full-time or part-time mining, mineral, metallurgy, or geoscience post-secondary programs in Canada. At least one award annually reserved for underrepresented groups.

Requirements

Submit a detailed resume, minimum one letter of recommendation (max three), and proof of registration in an eligible Canadian post-secondary program. Submit by September 30 annually.
