UPS Scholarship for Minority Students

The UPS Scholarship for Minority Students provides two annual $4,000 awards to minority industrial engineering undergraduates through a partnership between the UPS Foundation and IISE. In addition to the monetary award, winners receive complimentary registration and travel support to attend the IISE Annual Conference and Honors & Awards Banquet. The scholarship reflects UPS's commitment to increasing diversity and inclusion in the engineering workforce.

Open to minority undergraduate students enrolled in an IISE-accredited industrial engineering program in the U.S. or its territories, Canada, or Mexico. Applicants must be active IISE members with a minimum 3.4 GPA and a graduation date of May of the award year or later.

Students must be nominated by their department by November 15 and then submit a complete application package including transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and application forms by February 1. Applicants cannot self-nominate.
