The Richard J. Seif Technical Sales and Marketing Scholarship was established to support students pursuing careers that combine engineering or business knowledge with sales and marketing in the welding industry. One award of $3,000 is made annually through the AWS Foundation's national scholarship program. The AWS Foundation awards over $2.7 million in scholarships each year to students across the welding and related disciplines.
Open to U.S. or Canadian citizens who are college juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in engineering or business with a sales or marketing emphasis at a U.S. or Canadian university. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
Applicants must submit the standard AWS scholarship application including transcripts and letters of recommendation. The scholarship is administered through the AWS online scholarship portal.
