Owen Hart Foundation Award

The Owen Hart Foundation Award honors the memory of Canadian wrestler Owen Hart, who died tragically in 1999, by providing $4,000 awards to graduating students at five Calgary high schools. Ten or more awards are given annually, with additional $500 honorariums potentially available. The program is administered through the Calgary Foundation and supports students attending post-secondary studies in the following academic year.

Open to graduating seniors at Crescent Heights, Ernest Manning, Forest Lawn, Sir Winston Churchill, or Western Canada high schools in Calgary, Alberta. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and plan to enroll in a post-secondary institution.

Special consideration is given to students who hold part-time jobs. Online application forms are available mid-February each year through the Calgary Foundation's student awards portal.
