Morris and Fannie Skilken Family Foundation Endowment Fund Scholarship

The Morris and Fannie Skilken Family Foundation Endowment Fund Scholarship provides $2,000 awards to support OSU students engaged in Jewish Studies, particularly those focusing on Hebrew, Yiddish, or Ashkenazi cultural studies. The scholarship is administered through the Melton Center for Jewish Studies at Ohio State University. It honors the legacy of the Skilken family, whose foundation was a longtime supporter of Jewish cultural education in Columbus.

Open to Ohio State University students who have completed at least one course in Jewish Studies. The scholarship supports students studying Hebrew, Yiddish, Ashkenazi studies, or related Jewish Studies fields.

Applicants must be enrolled at Ohio State University and demonstrate academic engagement in Jewish Studies coursework. Up to three students per year may receive awards.
