About

NUPGE offers nine $2,500 scholarships annually to children, grandchildren, and wards of union members. The Young Worker Scholarship targets union family members under 35 pursuing post-secondary education at any year level.

Eligibility

Children, grandchildren (including foster children/grandchildren), or legal wards of current or retired NUPGE component or component affiliate members. Must be entering first year of full or part-time public post-secondary education.

Requirements

Submit a 750–1,000 word essay on the specified annual topic. Applications submitted through the NUPGE website. Nine scholarships of $2,500 each are awarded.
