The Canada Life + Lime Connect DevOps & Technology Internship & Scholarship Award is a third annual award combining a $5,000 CAD scholarship with a paid summer internship at Canada Life focusing on DevOps roles. The internship is in-office 3 days/week in one of three Canadian cities (Winnipeg, Toronto, or London) and includes team-building and professional development. The award supports undergraduate students with disabilities pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology programs. It is administered through Lime Connect, a network championing high-achieving people with disabilities.
Open to current undergraduate students enrolled at a university or college in Canada, continuing current studies or intending to be enrolled in 2026-2027 academic year, pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or certification or closely related technology program, with a visible or invisible disability, demonstrating leadership and passion for technology (particularly DevOps). Applicants must be available to work in Winnipeg, Toronto, or London, and maintain strong academic performance. Not open to current high school students.
Applicants must log into the Lime Community Platform as a Network Member, submit a resume, unofficial transcripts, and a 1-2 page essay answering specified questions about rebranding disability through achievement, impact of disability, interest in the award, location preference, and interest in DevOps. A letter of recommendation from professors, advisors, or supervisors is required by the deadline. Enrollment for 2026-2027 academic year will be verified after winners are selected.
