Live Your Dream Award

The Live Your Dream Award provides cash grants to women who are the primary financial supporters of their households and are pursuing education or vocational training to improve their lives. Club-level recipients receive an average of $1,000, while regional finalists can receive $3,000-$5,000, with top recipients potentially accessing up to $16,000 in cumulative awards. The program is designed to support women who face socioeconomic barriers to education. It is administered through local Soroptimist clubs in North and South America.

Open to women who provide the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents, have financial need, and are enrolled in or accepted to a vocational/skills training, high school equivalency, or undergraduate degree program. Applicants must reside in a Soroptimist International of the Americas member country or territory.

Applicants apply through their local Soroptimist club between August 1 and November 15. The application must demonstrate financial need, primary breadwinner status, and motivation to achieve educational and career goals. Club winners advance to region-level competition.
