The BigFuture Class of 2028 Scholarship awards $40,000 to students in the high school class of 2028 through bimonthly random drawings for completing college and career planning steps on the BigFuture platform. The program runs from December 2025 through November 2027 and also offers monthly $500 prizes. Lower-income students are entered into additional prize pools to improve their chances.
Open to U.S. high school students with a graduation date of 2028 who have a College Board account. There are no citizenship, income, GPA, or essay requirements.
Students earn entries by completing qualifying college and career planning activities on the BigFuture dashboard. Lower-income students are entered into separate additional drawings. Only one $40,000 scholarship may be awarded per student.
