The Christopher J. Hoy/ERT Scholarship awards $5,000 annually to a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in library science at an ALA-accredited institution. The scholarship was established with contributions from Christopher J. Hoy, a longtime ALA staff member, and the Exhibits Round Table. Applications are accepted each year from September 1 through March 1.
Open to U.S. or Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are pursuing an MLS or MLIS degree at an ALA-accredited program and have not completed more than one-third of their coursework prior to June 1 of the award year.
A complete scholarship application must be submitted through the ALA scholarship portal. Candidates must provide academic transcripts and other required supporting documents.
