About

Part of RBC's $1.5 million annual Next Step Scholarships suite. Awards 100 scholarships annually of up to $5,000 each for adults upskilling or reskilling. Two application cycles: April 13–June 4, 2026 and August 31–October 8, 2026.

Eligibility

Canadian citizens or permanent residents aged 25+; out of school for 3+ years; active in the workforce or seeking employment; require financial assistance for upskilling or reskilling at an accredited Canadian institution.

Requirements

Apply at rbc.com/scholarships; eligible learning must be at least 40 instructional hours at an accredited Canadian institution. First 500 submitted applications reviewed per cycle.
