Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is one of the largest private scholarships in the United States for community college transfer students, providing up to $55,000 per year for two to three years of undergraduate study. It serves high-achieving students with financial need who are making the transition from a two-year to a four-year institution. Recipients also gain access to advising, networking, and community support from the Cooke Scholar network.

Open to current community college students with sophomore status or recent graduates (within the past five years) who plan to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate program at an accredited four-year institution. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and demonstrate unmet financial need. No previous enrollment at a four-year institution is permitted.

Applicants complete an online application including essays, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation. Selected students are invited to participate in an interview. Scholars must remain enrolled full-time at the transfer institution and maintain satisfactory academic progress to retain the scholarship.
