EAA Post-Secondary Scholarships support students pursuing aviation-related degrees and certifications at colleges, universities, and technical schools. The EAA Aviation Foundation awarded over $237,000 in post-secondary scholarships to 39 students in a recent cycle. Individual named scholarships within this program typically range from $1,000 to $5,000. Recipients are notified in March following the December deadline.
Open to students attending or planning to attend a post-secondary institution with an aviation-related focus, including aviation engineering, management, airframe and powerplant maintenance, and pilot training at colleges or universities. Applicants must be citizens or residents of the U.S. or Canada with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Applications are submitted through the EAA Foundation's Kaleidoscope portal between October 1 and December 19 each year. International students may apply if they are enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian program and can demonstrate eligibility to study there. Late or incomplete applications are not accepted.
