About

National biotechnology science competition (also known as Sanofi Biogenius Canada). Students conduct original STEM research over several months with mentorship, then present at regional and national events. Free to participate. Program paused in 2025 for assessment; refreshed program expected to resume.

Eligibility

Canadian high school and CEGEP students; all backgrounds and regions; free to participate.

Requirements

Undertake a biotechnology or life sciences research project with expert mentor guidance; submit project for regional and national competition. Application deadline approximately May 1 annually.
