The Alberta C. Kaufman Scholarship awards two non-renewable $1,000 scholarships annually to Kentucky high school seniors or current college students. The scholarship was established by Kaufman & Stigger, PLLC to honor attorney Marshall Kaufman's late mother, Alberta C. Kaufman. It recognizes students who have been positively influenced by mentors and reflect on that experience in their essay.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are either Kentucky or Indiana high school seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher, or Kentucky or Indiana residents currently enrolled at a two- or four-year college or university.
Submit an introduction (1,200 max characters with spaces) telling about yourself. Submit an essay (3,000 max characters with spaces) describing someone who has influenced your life in a positive manner and how that will impact your future. Two $1,000 awards are given and funds are paid directly to the college or university.
