The Microsoft Disability Scholarship Program awards up to 11 scholarships of $5,000 to high school seniors with disabilities pursuing full-time or half-time degrees in technology, engineering, business, law, or related fields. Administered by Scholarship America in partnership with Microsoft's Disability at Microsoft Inclusion Network, the program supports students who may face unique barriers to higher education. International students are eligible if they enroll at a U.S. institution. Awards are renewable for up to three years or until a bachelor's degree is earned.
Open to current high school seniors with any disability who plan to enroll full-time or half-time in an undergraduate program at an accredited U.S. two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school beginning in the fall. Applicants must declare a major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, paralegal, pre-law, finance, business administration, marketing, or a related field, and have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Submit an application through Scholarship America. Up to 11 scholarships of $5,000 are awarded annually (renewable up to 3 years or until bachelor's degree is earned). Applicants must submit transcripts, recommendation form, and essay. Microsoft employees and their children are not eligible.
