eQuality Scholarships for High School Graduates

The eQuality Scholarships for High School Graduates awards $6,000 each to approximately 10 recipients annually to assist with post-secondary educational expenses. The program is run by the eQuality Scholarship Collaborative, a volunteer-driven organization serving northern and central California. It specifically recognizes graduating seniors and recent graduates who have made meaningful contributions to the LGBT+ community. Applications are accepted each fall.

Open to students who have completed or expect to complete high school (or equivalent) and plan to attend or begin attending an accredited post-secondary institution for the first time. Applicants must have demonstrated service to the LGBT+ community and reside in northern or central California. All sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome.

Applicants must complete an online application that includes evidence of LGBT+ community service, leadership, academic achievement, and financial hardship. Each application is reviewed by approximately 10 volunteers. Recipients may use the award at any accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.
