Horatio Alger Association of Canada Scholarships

The Horatio Alger Canadian Scholarship awards up to $10,000 (National Entrepreneurial Scholarship up to $25,000) to students who have demonstrated strength of character and a commitment to higher education despite adversity. The Vocational & Technical Education Scholarship (up to $9,000, deadline June 15) supports students entering trades training. Scholarships are renewable contingent on academic standing.

Canadian high school students in Grade 11 (for undergrad stream) with demonstrated financial need (household net income ≤ $80,000), integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, commitment to post-secondary education, and community involvement. Must plan to pursue a Bachelor's degree at an accredited Canadian university.
