CHFT Diversity Scholarship

Scholarship program by the Co-operative Housing Federation of Toronto for people living in CHFT member housing co-ops. Applications open each fall (2027 application available Fall 2026). Recognizes individuals who actively promote diversity through community work. Named sub-scholarships include the Penny Bethke, Joan Miller 'Success Becomes You', Randy Padmore, Pam McConnell, Dexter Johnston, and Mark Goldblatt scholarships. Over 490 scholarships awarded since 2004.

Must live in a CHFT member housing co-op in Durham, Toronto, or York Region. Applicants must be enrolling or enrolled in a publicly funded Canadian college, university, or approved apprenticeship program. Open to new graduates, current students, and those returning to school.
