The Delaware Scholarship Incentive Program is a need-based grant providing up to $2,200 to qualifying Delaware resident students, combining a base award of $700 (or $1,000 for graduate students) with a merit supplement of up to $1,500 for a 4.0 GPA. The program is administered by the Delaware Higher Education Office and targets students who might otherwise struggle to fund their education. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to qualify.
Applicants must be Delaware residents demonstrating financial need who are enrolled full-time as high school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students at accredited institutions. Out-of-state enrollment is eligible if the degree program is not offered at University of Delaware, Delaware State University, or Delaware Technical Community College.
Complete the online scholarship application and submit the FAFSA by May 15. Awards are determined based on financial need and GPA.
