About

NSHSS awards ten $1,000 scholarships annually to STEAM-focused student members. The scholarship is competitive, judged on essay quality and demonstration of passion and leadership in a STEAM field. Canadian NSHSS members may apply.

Eligibility

NSHSS members graduating in 2026–2029 who are planning to major in a STEAM field. Membership in NSHSS is required.

Requirements

Apply through nshss.org. Submit a 500–800 word response on why you chose to pursue a career in a STEAM field and your career aspirations.
