The Innovation in Education Scholarship by LA Tutors 123 awards $500 monthly to students who have created an innovative project that benefits their community. With 12 awards per year totaling $6,000 annually, it is designed to be accessible throughout the year rather than through a single annual deadline. The scholarship celebrates creative student initiative and entrepreneurship. Applications reopen on the 1st of each month and close on the 20th.
Open to current high school, college/university, or graduate students who are citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or Canada, or hold an active F1 I-20 or J1 DS-2019 visa in the United States. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Applicants must have designed an innovative project such as a website, app, blog series, or fundraising campaign that makes a positive difference in others' lives, and submit documentation of this project. Submissions are accepted on a monthly rolling basis, closing on the 20th of each month. Twelve awards are given annually.
