The Sallie Mae $2,000 No Essay Scholarship is a monthly sweepstakes-style award open to high school and college students across the United States. With no essay required and a quick application process, the scholarship makes financial aid accessible to a broad range of students. Winners receive $2,000 each month throughout the year to help cover college costs.
Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states, DC, and U.S. territories who are age 16 or older. Eligible applicants include: (1) parents with a child enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university; (2) students currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university; (3) parents with a child enrolled as a high school senior or junior; (4) high school juniors or seniors who intend to enroll in an accredited U.S. college or university within one year of graduating. Employees of SLM Education Services, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible.
No essay is required; applicants simply complete a short online form with personal and academic information. One winner is selected each month by random drawing; monthly entry is allowed.
