Research Grant Program to Assist Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies

The CCS Research Grant Program supports foreign scholars conducting research related to Chinese studies and Taiwan studies by providing monthly stipends of NT$60,000 (professors) or NT$50,000 (associate professors) for one to twelve months. Administered by the National Central Library's Center for Chinese Studies in Taipei, the program facilitates international scholarly exchange and strengthens global understanding of Chinese and Taiwanese culture and history.

Open to foreign professors, associate professors, assistant professors (including post-doctoral researchers), and doctoral candidates at foreign universities or academic institutes whose research is related to Chinese studies or Taiwan studies.

Submit a research proposal and required documentation to the Center for Chinese Studies. Research tenure is one month to one year, and the grant covers living expenses at a monthly stipend.
