The Louise Joanne Twerdy Leadership Bursary

A $10,000 annual bursary awarded to one student aspiring to the same leadership, dedication, and compassion as Louise Joanne Twerdy, former MADD Canada National President. Part of the MADD Canada Bursary Program. Recipients notified by August 31.

Canadian citizens who have been severely injured or had a parent/guardian or sibling killed or severely injured in an impaired driving crash; must be enrolled full-time in a ministry-approved post-secondary program; injuries must be catastrophic or severe.

Complete the MADD Canada bursary application; provide proof of injury and relation to impaired driving; evaluated on impact of crash, academic performance, financial need, long-term goals, and community involvement.
