UPS Scholarship for Female Students

The UPS Scholarship for Female Students is administered by IISE to support women pursuing careers in industrial engineering. It awards $4,000 to one recipient annually. The scholarship aims to increase gender diversity in the ISE profession by recognizing outstanding female students. Nominations open each September 1.

Open to female undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited industrial and systems engineering (ISE) program in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico with a graduation date of May 2027 or later. Applicants must be active IISE members with a minimum 3.4 GPA. Self-nominations are not accepted.

Candidates must be nominated by November 15; nominated students then submit an application package by February 1 including the application form, unofficial transcripts, and three letters of recommendation. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and campus involvement.
