Scholarships in varying amounts are awarded annually to gifted violinists who demonstrate excellence or potential in performance and who are registered in the Bachelor of Music program. Preference will be given to newly admitted students. In the event there are no qualified violinists in any given year, other string instrumentalists will be considered. In the case of equally qualified candidates, need shall be the determining factor. Approval of the recipients will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the School of Music.
