As funds are available, up to two awards, of $2,000 each are given to undergraduate students who: - are entering the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, - have graduated from a Canadian high school and, - have demonstrated academic merit (weighted at 75% of the adjudication) and extra-curricular accomplishments (weighted at 25% of the adjudication) in one or more of the following areas: engineering or software design, fine arts, athletics, leadership or entrepreneurship. Applicants must submit a summary describing their accomplishments (maximum 300 words), and a letter of reference from someone not related to them, who can attest to the aforementioned activity. Approval of the recipients will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.
