One or more awards of $1,000 each are given to Indigenous undergraduate students entering or continuing in the Faculty of Law who are from one of the communities where the Indigenous Perspectives Camp (IPC) (formerly Aboriginal Awareness Camp) has taken place. If no one is eligible then the award is given to a continuing student, with first preference for Indigenous students who have participated in IPC and second preference to non-Indigenous students who have participated in IPC. Part-time students (minimum 3.0 units) are eligible for this award. Approval of the recipient(s) will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Law.
