One or more awards of at least $5,000 are given to undergraduate students entering or continuing in the Juris Doctor (JD) / Juris Indigenarium Doctor (JID) program or to Indigenous students enrolling in the JD program of the Faculty of Law who have demonstrated academic ability together with determination, resilience, contribution, and compassion in areas of life such as prior work experience, graduate study, community service, family care, or disability. Approval of the recipients will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Law.
