Chancellor's First Nations Award

A renewable full-support award covering tuition (including ancillary and material fees), a single residence room and standard meal plan, and textbooks purchased at the Brock Campus Store — for up to 4 years or 20 attempted credits, whichever comes first. Awarded annually to one entering First Nations undergraduate student who excels in academic achievement, cultural/artistic pursuits, athletics, or community contribution.

One entering First Nations undergraduate student per year who is coming directly from high school, holds a status card proving band membership, has a minimum 80% final high school average, and meets standard Brock admission requirements. Preference for students with no other access to funding (i.e. not sponsored through their First Nations band). Recommended by Secondary School Indigenous Lead/Counsellor. Maximum two nominations per school.

Application required — complete the student application by June 3 (student deadline) and provide the Lead/Counsellor endorsement link to the Secondary School Indigenous Lead/Counsellor, whose endorsement is due June 14.
