About

Kim Decker is a 1980 graduate of Conestoga's Recreation Leadership program and in 2023 was the recipient of Conestoga's Alumni of Distinction Award. Kim is a passionate advocate for gender equity and has dedicated her career to working with and for women, girls, and gender diverse individuals. Kim has been the CEO of YWCA Cambridge for 38 years. She is known by colleagues, community partners, and other leaders for leading with compassion, honesty, vulnerability, trust, and respect. The recipient of this award is a full-time Conestoga student entering their first year of any program with a demonstrated interest in supporting women, girls, and gender diverse individuals either through paid or volunteer work.
