About

$500 entrance bursary automatically awarded to eligible first-time students entering Level 1 who qualify for OSAP. Available at Ottawa, Pembroke, and Perth campuses.

Eligibility

First-time Algonquin College student entering Level 1 of a full-time program in September 2026 or January 2027. Must be eligible for full-time OSAP with at least $1 of assessed need. Not available to international students or students in Apprenticeship, Bridging, Contract, or Graduate Certificate programs.

Requirements

No separate application required. Confirm admission by May 1 (Sept) or Dec 1 (Jan) and apply for OSAP by June 15 (Sept) or Oct 31 (Jan). Award is automatically credited to student account after the last day for official withdrawal.
