About

Up to $40,000 for 4-year degrees ($5,000 initial + $5,000/term); up to $15,000 for 3-year advanced diplomas; up to $10,000 for 2-year diplomas. 6 degree, 10 advanced diploma, and 10 diploma scholarships available for 2026/27. Renewable with 3.0 GPA and ongoing leadership demonstration.

Eligibility

Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person/refugee enrolling full-time in first term of an eligible business, IT, or nursing program at Fanshawe College starting Fall 2026. Minimum 70% admission average. Must demonstrate interest in a public-sector career and leadership potential.

Requirements

Applications open March 14 to June 30. Submit online form at forms.fanshawec.ca/wsib_scholars (Fanshawe login required) with a 500-word essay aligning character with WSIB's values (accountability, collaboration, empathy, integrity). Contact: studentawards@fanshawec.ca.
