About

$1,000 initial tuition payment plus $1,000 per academic term (up to $7,000 total). $100,000 available annually. Eligible programs include carpentry, plumbing, welding, HVAC, construction, and architectural technology. Renewable with 3.0 GPA and mentorship participation.

Eligibility

Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person/refugee enrolling full-time in first term of an eligible skilled trades program at Fanshawe College starting Fall 2026. Minimum 70% admission average. Must demonstrate interest in a skilled trades career.

Requirements

Applications open March 14 to June 30. Submit online form at forms.fanshawec.ca/canerector_scholars (Fanshawe login required) with a 500-word essay on interest in skilled trades and desired industry impact. Contact: studentawards@fanshawec.ca.
