About

Wanda Robson Awards now offer 7 entrance scholarships ($1,500 each) and 12 in-course awards ($3,500 each) for African Nova Scotian students. Entrance awards for high school graduates; in-course awards for enrolled students. Established to honour the legacy of Wanda Robson and made possible through the Jeannine Deveau Achievement Fund.

Eligibility

Identifies as African Nova Scotian; Canadian citizen or permanent resident of African descent; Nova Scotia resident who attended high school in NS. Entrance awards: minimum 70% average or demonstrated exceptional leadership (7 awards). In-course awards: minimum 70% average in recent evaluations or demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic growth (12 awards).

Submit official transcript + 500-word essay + résumé by March 1. Contact awards@cbu.ca.
