award_type: funding package. $15,500/year for up to 4 years (12 semesters) — $8,000 from FGSR + $7,500 from supervisor/unit/faculty. Clinical Psychology PhD students funded for 3 years (9 semesters). Students losing good standing have funding suspended; award term cannot be extended.

Eligibility

All PhD students accepted to a doctoral program at University of Regina starting Fall 2025 onward; minimum first-class average (80%) upon entry; must maintain 80% average throughout; full-time enrollment (minimum 6 credit hours/semester); not eligible if holding major external awards of $40,000+; must complete Grad Thrive Plus GRST 801 by end of first semester; excludes students employed full-time in non-research positions (may waive)

No application required; automatically provided to all eligible PhD students; funded through combination of FGSR ($8,000) and supervisor/unit/faculty contributions ($7,500); implemented from Fall 2025
