About

$6,000/year for up to 4 years (maximum $24,000). 30 awards. For Indigenous students based on overall academic performance. Includes an optional $2,000 study abroad component for approved international experiences through Western International, to be completed by end of fourth year.

Eligibility

Indigenous students; based on overall academic performance. Entering first-year undergraduate directly from high school; full-time registration required (minimum 3.5 courses) at main campus. Cannot be combined with the National Scholarship or Schulich Leader Scholarship. Students with prior post-secondary attendance are ineligible. Cannot be deferred. Renewable for up to 4 years by maintaining 80% average during the Fall/Winter academic year and remaining registered full-time. 30 awards.
