About

Renewable entrance scholarships of $3,000, $5,000, $10,000, or $12,000 per year, awarded based on academic achievement and outstanding leadership in school and community. Renewable for up to 3–4 years if renewal criteria are met. Recipients receive guaranteed placement in their top-3 residence choices and priority registration. $10,000 (Prestige) and $12,000 (Greville Smith) recipients are invited to a mentorship program.

Eligibility

First-time full-time undergraduate students at McGill. $12,000 awards restricted to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. CEGEP students admitted to Law, Dentistry, or Medicine ineligible as of Fall 2026. Not available to transfer, mature, diploma, exchange, special, part-time, or visiting students.

Requirements

Separate application required; submit via the Undergraduate Admissions Portal (opens October 1). Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee an award.
