About

$2,500 scholarship recognizing outstanding academic achievement of Alberta post-secondary students. Alberta government-funded award. Applying also automatically considers you for the Louise McKinney Scholarship ($2,500). You can only receive one of the two in a given year.

Eligibility

Alberta Resident continuing in 2nd or subsequent year of an undergraduate degree (or any year of professional/after-degree program). Must have completed at least 80% of full-normal course load (24+ units) from September to April. Minimum GPA of 3.5 for the most recent September–April at an eligible Alberta post-secondary institution. Applying for Jason Lang also considers you for the Louise McKinney Scholarship.

Complete the General Application, Additional Information Application, and faculty-specific application through Awards Hub. Application period: February 1 – March 31.
