Three annual bursaries of $6,000 each, sponsored by Fairfax Financial Holdings, for incoming Canadian students with financial need and strong academics. Renewable for up to four years with continued eligibility.

Eligibility

Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering the University of Manitoba with a minimum 80% high school average and demonstrated financial need. Three bursaries awarded annually. Renewable for years 2–4 with a 3.5+ GPA.

Requirements

Separate application required. Submit a government student loan assessment as proof of financial need. Apply by July 15. Contact awards@umanitoba.ca for the application.
